Richard K. Connell of Edgewater Park, died Saturday, September 22nd at Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, he was 60 years of age. Born on June 14, 1952 in Trenton, NJ, Richard grew up in Levittown, PA, and has been a resident of Edgewater Park for the past 35 years. Richard was employed as a maintenance mechanic and electrician for the Burlington Coat Factory. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Union.

He was the type of man that could fix anything, if it was broken…he could fix it and get it running again. In his spare time he enjoyed reading and was an avid history buff that enjoyed visiting museums and battlefields. Son of the late Thomas and Frances Connell and brother of the late Mary, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Phyllis F. (nee Kallman) Connell, his son Richard M. Connell of Edgewater Park and his siblings; Thomas, Jr., Christopher, David, Terrence, Michael and Cathleen. Richard is also survived by his devoted companion, his dog, Roxy.
