Richard G. Dilgard, 64 of Ashland passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Ashland December 20, 1946 to the late Glen and Nina (Knowlton) Dilgard where he has lived most of his life. He was a Deputy in the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office retiring in 1995. He specialized in Cults and Occult Investigations for the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office.
Richard is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Janet Dilgard of Ashland and Sheila and John Pesta of Ashland, two grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was preceded by his parents and a brother Peter in 1999.
