Richard E. Transue, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2013 at Manor Care Health Center, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Anna (Rose) Transue. Born in Fountain Hill, Richard was the son of the late Earl and Elizabeth (Janisch) Transue. He served in the US Navy during WWII, and later worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for many years. He was a member of the West Side Republican Club, and of the Rosemont Fire Company. Survivors: wife Anna; daughter Rebecca Transue of Bethlehem; brother Robert Transue of Bethlehem. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Transue.
