He was employed as a Social Worker at the Richard Hall Community Mental Health Center in Bridgewater Twsp. for 40 years. He retired 2 years ago.
Mr. Herford was the father of Kristen Velicky and her husband Robert and David Herford and his wife Maureen; the brother of Christine D. Ciancia and her husband Peter. He was the grandfather “Papa” of Shane, Patrick and Collin Herford and Alicia, Andrew and Kayla Velicky. He was the uncle of Lauren Ciancia.
