Mr. Don Denney, 76, of Newnan passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Savannah Court. He was born March 21, 1939 in Hogansville, GA to the late James Milton Denney & Sally Talley Denney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, June Denney Garrett.
Don was a longtime, active member of Newnan First United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Henry Kitchens Sunday School Class and sang with the Swinging Singing Seniors Choir. He was a real estate broker and developer with Denney Realty and owned Denney Construction Company.
Survivors include children, Jill (Taylor) Helton, Tim (Ann) Denney, Tal Denney; brothers, Jimmy (Beverly) Denney, Ned (Gayle) Denney; grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Neely, Kyle (Lindsey) Gillespie, Taryn Denney; mother of his children, Pauline Harris; brother-in-law, Gartell Garrett; and five great-grandchildren.
