Richard (Dick) M. Fessler of Fountain Hills passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Aug. 22, 2015.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He was born in Evanston, Ill., on March 14, 1930, to Peter and Johanna (né©e Schaudt) Fessler. He was raised in Evanston, Ill., and after marrying, lived in Skokie, Ill., then Arlington Heights, Ill. and Marengo, Ill. until his retirement to Fountain Hills in 1997
His wisdom, kindness, compassion, loyalty, steadfast love and wonderful laugh will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brothers Alfred and George. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Kathleen (né©e Weber) Fessler, his son Peter (Cindy) Fessler of Allen, Texas, his daughter Theresa Fessler of Ruckersville, Va., his daughter Carolyn Fessler of Naperville, Ill., his grandchildren Bradley Fessler, Lisa (Will) Redwolf, Jessica (Daniel) Muniz, Stephanie (Jon) Arnold, Michael (Kristin) Fessler, Richard Fessler, Joseph (Tanna) Fessler, Angela Reed, Valerie (Brian) Gosack, Ashley Tauber and Elise Tauber, and 13 great-grandchildren.
