Richard “Dick” Joseph Connors, 84, of Boca Raton, peacefully passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Boca Regional Hospital in Boca Raton, Florida.
Dick was born to Joseph and Kathleen Connors on March 16, 1937 in Binghamton, New York. He was a devout Catholic and loved his family, a good joke, and sports, especially his beloved Boston Red Sox. Dick married the love of his life, Patricia Condon in 1958. Together they raised two wonderful children and created a strong and loving family unit. Dick began his 30-year career with IBM in Binghamton and relocated his family to Boca Raton, Florida in 1967.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Kathleen Connors; sisters Patricia Sullivan, Geraldine Ewing, and Jean Winsor; and son in law Denis McFadden.
Dick is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Connors; daughter Suzanne McFadden; son Vincent Connors (Clio Connors); granddaughters Alyssa Whitcomb (Ryan Whitcomb), Stephanie McFadden (Joe McFadden), Melodie Connors and Ella Connors; great-grandchildren Ansley Whitcomb, Denver McFadden, Emerson McFadden, and Hudson Whitcomb; sister Margaret Lovelady; brother in law David Condon; and many nieces and nephews.
