Richard Day, 82, of Alexandria, passed away on October 31, 2015 at the Alexandria Care Center. He was born on February 7, 1933. He served his country in the Army during the KoreanWar. He retired from General Motors. He was a member of the VFW. Richard is survived by his children, Michael Day, Ralph Day and, Danny (Gabrielle) Bevel, grandchildren, Thomas, Jimmy, Stephen, Chris, Brian, Misty, Jennifer, Shon and wife, Elizabeth, Emily and Aaron, great-grandchildren, Brian, Mathew, Avery, Cheyenne and Campbell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Day, and son, Jim Bevel who died Sept 27, 2015, Luther and Lou Day.
