Chatham, Richard “Yankee” Chilen Sandmeyer passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on September 9, 2012. He was born in St. James, Minnesota on October 3, 1937 to the late George John and Elvina Marie Sandmeyer. He was of the Catholic faith and graduated from St. James High School in 1955. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Army Reserve (1957-1963).
