Richard Carey II, 69, of Bruceton Mills, WV, died on Monday, April 11, 2016, at his home.
Richard was born January 30, 1947, in Milford, DE, a son of the late Richard and Clara Virginia (Passwaters) Carey.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired after working 35 years as an assistant manager with A&P/Super Fresh. Richard was a member of the Eagles Nest Church in Milton, DE, local 27 of UFCW in Milford, DE, and NRA. He enjoyed being around people and collecting A&P memorabilia.
He is survived by his wife Pamela Ruth (Richards) Carey; one son and spouse, Richard and Gina Carey III of Bruceton Mills; one daughter and spouse, Lisa Marie and Elmer Stapleford of Milton, DE; one brother, Curtis Carey of Lincoln, DE; one sister, Virginia Housman of Ellendale, DE; two grandchildren, Abigail Nicole Carey and Bobbie Elizabeth Carey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one nephew, Curtis W. Carey; one sister-in-law, Gidge Carey.
