Mr. Richard Earl Basford age 53 of Marianna, FL passed away Monday, November 10, 2008 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Jackson county where he worked as a tractor mechanic for J.D. Swearingen Equipment Company, Inc. He is survived by his mother, Jewette Basford; one brother; James Harold Basford and wife Debbie of Okeechobee, two sisters; Brenda Miller of Dothan, AL and Sarah Jane Basford of Marianna, a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Mike Barrett and Kim Dion.
