Richard Allen Rupsis, Sr., 60, of Niles, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, August 20th in Carrabelle, Florida. Mr. Rupsis was born on July 10, 1945 in Michigan City, Indiana to Joseph Phillip and Cecile Bernice (Vogeley) Rupsis, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Allen Rupsis, Jr. Mr. Rupsis had attended Purdue University and was the Founder and Co-owner of FDC Graphic Films, Inc.
On July 22, 1995 in Niles, Michigan, he married Judy Eck, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Megan Rupsis of Libertyville, Illinois; a granddaughter, Amy Anita Rupsis of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; two sisters, Joan (Paul) Wilson of Quincy, Illinois, Jan (Bob) Schultz of New Buffalo, Michigan; his former wife, Sherian Rupsis of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; a daughter-in-law, Donna Rupsis of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; an aunt, Grace Seifert of Three Oaks, Michigan; two cousins, Ken (Karen) Seifert of Three Oaks, Michigan, Darlene Van Loan of Tampa, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
