Richard A. Peddell, age 80 of Plymouth, passed away on April 19, 2019 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Brenda (Ferretti)Peddell of Plymouth. He was the loving father of Heidi Hall and her husband Christopher of Plymouth, Michael Peddell and his wife Karen of Marshfield, Amy Coughlin and her husband Shawn, Nicole Pierson and her husband Michael, Danielle Gorse and her husband Patrick all of Plymouth and the late Stephanie Boyden. He was the cherished grandfather of Christian and Benjamin Hall, Quinn, Maura and Callahan Coughlin, Katherine, Maria, and Michael Peddell, Anthony and Arianna Pierson, Patrick Jr. and Genevieve Gorse, Rosa, Malik and Nathaniel Pina. He was the brother of the late Mary Edwards. Richard was born on September 18, 1938 in Roxbury to John and Alice (Ellsworth) Peddell. He graduated from Commerce High School in Boston. He served in the US Army Reserves. He worked as a Food Broker until his retirement. Richard was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, canoeing and riding his ATV. He often spent time traveling to Maine where he had a cabin. You could find him on the property setting up targets to practice his shooting skills before venturing out into the wilderness.
