Richard A. “Rick” Lawson, 49, Anderson, passed away April 16, 2010 at his residence after after a two year illness.
He was born July 12, 1960 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of his life. Rick was a 1979 graduate of Highland High School. He was a truck driver for more than twenty years, most recently, for R & L Carriers. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rick was an avid boater and enjoyed being on the lake with his kids. He is survived by his wife whom he married in 1997, Rebecca Salazar Lawson; parents, Alice June & Ronald Lawson of Anderson; three children, Autumn Lawson of Anderson, Hunter Lawson of Anderson and Asha Lawson of Anderson; sister, Tammy Butch Wagner of Florida; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Joe & Theresa Salazar of Frankton; brothers-in-law, Joey Salazar of Frankton, Noey Stephanie Salazar of Alexandria and Billy Salazar of Frankton; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
