Rhonda Marie (Norcross) Lopez, age 64, “Nagweyaab Giizhigookwe” meaning “Rainbow Sky Woman” of Pine Point, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Friday, January 7th, 2022 from the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.
Rhonda was born on Christmas Eve in 1957 to Margaret Ann (Rock) and Myron David Norcross, Sr. Rhonda worked various jobs through out her life like maintenance for the Shooting Star Casino and a cook for the White Earth Elder Center. In her spare time, she liked to bead and sew, play the slots and scratch offs, and playing cards with her friends. Rhonda liked a clean house, making sure everyone picked up after themselves. She also liked to cook and was known for her fry bread but her favorite thing to do was being with her family, especially her grandkids, who always brought a huge smile to her face. Rhonda always seemed to find a way to make to all the family events, even if they were far away.
She is welcomed to the spirit world by her parents; Margaret and Myron, brother; Greg, twin siblings; Michaelene and Anthony, nieces; Cheyenne, Kayla and Carol, great nieces; Cheyenne Jr., Keyian, and Baby Rock Jr., cousins; Julie, Phyllis and more, numerous aunties, uncles and many other family members.
