Reynaldo “Nondy” Escalante, beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother, tragically passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. Nondy, as he was known by his loved ones and friends, was born on Wednesday, July 26, 1972 in Dallas, Texas to his parents, Morayma and Gilbert Cavello. He attended high school at Sunset High School where he enjoyed playing sports. Even from a young age, family meant the world to Nondy. He loved his children and grandchildren. He was easy to love and was loved by so many. He was a well-rounded technician and mechanic, and used his skills to help others. He had a great sense of humor. He was known for being simple, kind, humble, and thoughtful. With Nondy’s active lifestyle, also came a huge appetite and sweet tooth. Nondy also enjoyed riding motorcycles and other high excitement activities. However, his greatest joy was always his family and those he loved. Each of them held a special place in his heart. Nondy’s deep love, simple humility, energetic work-ethic, and his love for life will live on through his family.
Reynaldo “Nondy” Escalante is survived by his wife Jolynn, his children, Stephanie, Stephen, Erica, Vanessa, Alexis, Clarissa, and Rey; his grandchildren, Haley, Hazel, King, Nala, Serenity, Paisley, Kinsley, Riley, Izaiah, and Izaac; his parents, Morayma and Gilbert Cavello; his brothers, Daniel, Michael, and Gilbert; and his sister-in-law, Socorra Escalante.
