It’s with the deepest sadness that we announce that Rey Julius Sanchez, 27 years old, passed away February 19, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, son and friend. Born April 24, 1994, in Long Island, New York. The youngest of three siblings. Julius was a man that could light up the room with just his smile. His laughter was contagious and he was a friend you could never forget. He had a heart of gold ready to give his last to help anyone. He only saw the brighter side of life and longed for so much more every day striving to get to the top. His passion for motor sports was out of this world and he could build anything he put his mind to. He was a funny spontaneous, ambitious man of God and he made his family proud.

A man who always honored his wife and 4 children and made sure they were always taken care of and had the very best. Giving them adventure, laughter, joy and peace and a spirit so free with not a worry in the world. “Hakuna Matata” was his phrase that he left this world living. Always looking for a way to generate money and enjoy more out of life. He pushed EVERYONE to be their best and never to give up, and go the extra mile and give it all you got. “GO BIG OR GO HOME” he would he always did it Big. He was a warrior and endured a lot of pain in life but never stopped pushing and smiling. No one and nothing could stop him. He was invincible.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Ashley Nicole Sanchez, his 4 children (Jordan, Alyssa, Noel, and Zoey), mother, Vivian Contreras (Stepfather, Carlos Contreras), father Rey Sanchez (Stepmother, Ana Sanchez), Brother, Rey Jr Sanchez and sister Elivialuz and all his other many extended family members.

Now I lay you down to rest

Remembering your heart beat when I’d laid on your chest.

Our first kiss, our last words, the day we said “I do”

Three years of being your wife I wasn’t ready to lose you.

You gave us your life transformed into a man Let go of the old you

and gave God your hand You gave me the strength to get to today

Tomorrow’s not promised so be ready for yesterday
