Rex Junior Shackelford, age 79, of Grafton, formerly of Knottsville Community, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Hartland of Clarksburg. He was born in Grafton, January 13, 1932, a son of the late Guy E. Shackelford and Elsie (Phillips) Shackelford Bolyard.
Surviving are: three nieces, Sandra Bretzman and husband Robert, Mellanee Shackelford and Jay Louzy, all of Grafton, Sandra Whisner, Preston County, WV; three nephews, James Shackelford and Sylvia Austin, Guy Stevens and wife Darlene, and Louie Stevens, all of Grafton; and many great nieces and nephews.
Rex was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been preceded in death by one brother, James E. Shackelford; and two sisters Lula Mae Stevens, and Mildred Whisner.
