Reverend Orville Davis
Reverend Orville Davis, 88, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 after a lengthy illness.
He was born December 27, 1927, in Rowlesburg, the son of late Clarence E. and Jessie Loughry Davis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leroy E. two sisters, Evelyn Davis and Ada Davis Savage; three brother in-laws, Ray Savage, James Frazee and Vernon Uglow.
He attended the Rowlesburg Schools, West Virginia University and D.T. College, Nashville, TN.
He was a retired United Methodist Minister, with the Potomac Highland District, retired from the B&O railroad and was a Veteran who served during WWII.
He is survived by his brother, Raymond and wife, Patty of Belington, his sisters, Rose M. Frazee of Friendsville, MD and Gwendolyn Uglow of Rowlesburg; a sister in-law, Rita Davis of Beaver, PA and many nephews and nieces.
