Rev. V. Keith Kelly, 87, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Westminster Village in Muncie. He was born January 14, 1927, in Anderson, the son of V. Frank and Sarah Pennisten Kelly, graduated from Anderson High School and Olivet Nazarene College.
Rev. Kelly was involved with prison ministry for almost twelve years prior to retiring in 1990.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Salatin Kelly, whom he married June 10, 1950; four children, Daniel R. Kelly, (wife, Susan), Michigan City, Deborah J. Hollowell, (husband, James), Houston, Texas, Catherine S. Strong, (husband, Robert), Indianapolis, and David K. Kelly, (wife, Tammy), Flagstaff, Arizona; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; his brother, Richard, Kelly, (wife, Lois), Anderson; two sisters, Agnes Cain, (husband, Raymond), Anderson, and Grace Bollenbacher, Ft. Wayne; his sister-in-law, Mary Ann Sturgeon, (husband, Ed), Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kirby Kelly, Charles Kelly, Alva Kelly, William Kelly, LeRoy Kelly and James Kelly; and his sister, Frances Gascho.
