Reverend Robert Earl Catholic was born on June 26, 1938, in Wilson, Arkansas to his parents Mattie Pearl Miller and Ephriam Catholic. He was the third child born in this family along with his brothers JC Fowler, William Earl Catholic, his sisters Minnie Mae Logan and Henrietta Cage. Even as a child he had a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence in the work he produced. He was educated in Wilson, Arkansas public schools. He left Wilson, Arkansas at an early age and moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan. Later, he moved back home for a while then moved to Wichita, Kansas where he met Alma Metcalfe. Once married, they moved to Denver, Colorado in 1968.
