SUWANEE, GA- Rev. Joseph Rudolph Pittman, 89, went to be with our Lord and Savior, August 2, 2018.
Rev. Pittman was born March 6, 1929 to the late John and Annie Pittman in Johnston County, NC. Rev. Pittman proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in San Diego, CA and Okinawa, Japan. He served as a Fireman for the City of Durham and in 1964 became an Industrial Engineer at IBM where he retired after 21 years. Rev. Pittman then went into the ministry for the Pentecostal Holiness Church where he pastored several different churches over 30 years throughout Western N.C.
Rev. Pittman is preceded in death by parents, John and Annie Pittman.
Rev. Pittman is survived by his wife, Eloise Warren; daughter, Angela Pittman Hogg (Steve); grandchildren, Ashlyn and Ansley Hogg; sister: Macie Horton.
