Rev. Joseph “Jay” Newton Walthour, 68, of Chickamauga went home to be with his Lord on Friday, October 7, 2016 at his residence.
Home in heaven now are his parents, Leo and Uldene Walthour; son, Timothy James Walthour and brother, LeBron Walthour.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Alice Lynn Walthour; son, Robert (Melissa) Joseph Walthour; daughter, Rebecca (Tim) Lynn Walthour Brown; daughter-in-law, Amy Walthour; brother, Howard (Debbie) Walthour; sisters, Catherine Walthour and Pam (Mel) Honeycutt; along with 11 grandchildren and his “little buddy”, Oscar.
