Renae Gardner passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, Oct.11, 2012.

Renae was born on Dec. 16th, 1952 to her loving parents, Ross and Erma Gardner. She was the “baby” of a family of 4 brothers and 1 sister so was always surrounded by a lot of family.

When she was 10, she moved with her family to Quincy, WA. so her Father could farm there. She loved the “sing-a-longs” the family had almost every Saturday night. She would sing and dance for everyone, always making everyone laugh.

In 1978 she moved back to Teton City with her folks and later moved to Nampa to be close to her Mother.

She loved living with her roommate, Karen Brock while in Nampa. They became very close friends and did almost everything together. Renae enjoyed competing in Special Olympics, bowling, watching movies and many other activities with Karen. They had fun teasing the staff who took care of them and would often be “partners in crime” to stay out of trouble.

Renae has been in the care of very special people all the years she has lived in Nampa and the family extends their deepest gratitude for everything they have done for her all of these years. She couldn’t have gotten better care.

Renae was preceded in death by her Mother and Father. She is survived by her brothers, Dahlan Gardner of Teton City, ID;  Kenneth (Linda) Gardner & Loren (Marge) Gardner of St. Anthony, ID;  Keven (Sandy) Gardner of Quincy, WA;  one sister, Gayla (Skip) Kellogg of Eagle ID. and many nieces and nephews.

The family extends a very special Thank You to Journeys Hospice in Nampa for their magnificent care and concern in these last few months of Renae’s life.
