Mr. Hunnewell was born February 18, 1926 in New York City, New York. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, where he served in the European Theater during World War II. Mr. Hunnewell was a member of the VFW in Jackson Township, NJ.
Mr. Hunnewell was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 43 years, Ann Wekerle Hunnewell and brother, Larry Hunnewell. He is survived by sons, Remsen Hunnewell, and his wife Jane, of Oakhurst, NJ and Donald J. Hunnewell, and his wife Rose, of Ash, NC; 3 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and his beloved friend and companion, Marge Perry of Lake Placid, FL.
