Regina B. Jaworski, age 57, of Piscataway,formerly of Highland Park, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover, N.J. Born in New Brunswick, Regina lived in Highland Park for most of her life before moving to Piscataway in May 2009. In her earlier years, she was active teaching Sunday School and CCD classes at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park.

Regina had worked as an administrative assistant for the Rutgers Mental Health Center from 1973 to 1982 and later worked as a teacher’s aide at the Irving School in Highland Park. She was always known for being athletic and enjoyed tennis, skating and bowling along with other activities.

She was the pre-deceased by her parents, John and Veronica Auger McGinty and a brother, Dennis McGinty.
Regina is survived by her husband of 28 years, Andrew Jaworski of Piscataway, a daughter, Briana Auger Jaworski of New Milford,CT, a son, Colin Andrew Jaworski, of Boston, MA, her siblings; Ellen Nicoletti of Morristown, N.J., John McGinty, of Baltimore, MD, Julienne and Kathleen McGinty, both of Monroe, N.J. and Meg Cortelyou of Manville, N.J.

Relatives and friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, 502 Raritan Avenue, Highland Park.
