Mr. Dumas was retired from International Paper Company. He loved to fish, hunt, work in his garden, and take care of his dogs.
He is survived by step-son, Dennis Ainsworth & wife Dawn of California; sister, Lena Wells of Bastrop; grandchildren, Melissa Ainsworth and Daniel Ainsworth; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents, Barney Dumas & Beatrice Dumas Rushing; sister, Osie Lee Smith; and brothers, Tommie Dumas and Bud Dumas.
