Reed Henning, 94, of Lostant passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center in Henry.
Mr. Henning was born on June 6, 1922 in Lostant to Walter and Mary Florence (Barr) Henning. He married Dolores Lamboley on May 20, 1950 in Lostant United Methodist.
Reed served in the Army during WWII. He was a self employed for many years.
Reed was a member of Lostant United Methodist Church, retired volunteer fireman for the Lostant Fire Department and a member of the Lostant American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores of Lostant; his two children, Reed Henning, Jr. of Lostant and Janet (James) Puetz of Cedar Point; three grandchildren, Heidi (Lee) Ballerini, Carl Puetz and Joshua Henning; 5 great-grandchildren, Kaylee Puetz, Lexi Ballerini, Alix Henning, Jammie Henning and Joshua Henning, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Ralph Henning.
