Redenta “Rae” Ramezzana of Toms River formerly of Wood Ridge, NJ passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. Rae was born and raised in Union City, NJ. Rae began her adult life working at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City.
Before meeting and marrying the love of her life and devoted husband Henry. Rae and Henry moved to Wood Ridge where they raised their 2 sons and lived there for almost 30 years. Rae was an active volunteer at Assumption Catholic Church and Assumption Catholic School, both in Wood Ridge, for many years where her sons attended from grades 1 to 8.
After raising her family Rae started working again at what was then South Bergen Savings and Loan Bank in Wood Ridge and retired as Assistant Treasurer before moving to Toms River with her husband. Rae was also an active partner in several family businesses. Rae is predeceased by her loving and doted husband Henry of over 60 years, who she incredibly missed every day. She is also predeceased by her parents and 2 sisters. Rae is survived by 2 sons Richard and Thomas, daughter in-law Cheryl, granddaughter Kristen, grandson Ricky, and a sister Rose Gibson.
