Rebecca (Mathis) Pratt, 88, of Ottawa passed away on December 6, 2019 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Rebecca was born on November 18, 1931 in Auburn, AL to Frank and Molly (Yancy) Mathis. She married Tilmon G. Pratt on January 16, 1953 in Ottawa.
Rebecca was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by five children, Margaret (Lars) Pruitte, of Joliet, Larry (Melissa) Pratt and Roger Pratt, both of Ottawa, Jerry (Josie Rodriguez) Pratt, of Streator, and Gregor Pratt, of Rockford, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a sister Viola Reed, of Sarasota, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tilmon, on November 8, 2011, a son Tilmon “Charles” Pratt, three sisters, Trudy Avery, Florence Alford, and Annawill Shepherd, and a brother Levi Mathis.
