Rebecca Roland DeVaney, 66, Anderson, died July 18, 2011, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis Indiana after a brief illness. She was born January 19, 1945, in Elwood, and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Rebecca retired in 2005 from Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield after 30 years of service as an account executive for small groups. She was a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her flowers, birds, card club, cooking, and entertaining in her outdoor kitchen for her neighbors, friends, and family.
Survivors include her husband, whom she married November 10, 1963, Phillip DeVaney; children, Kymberli Scott DeWitt of Las Vegas, NV, Scott Tracey DeVaney of Anderson, and Nicole George Eppl of Sanford, FL; siblings, Robert Sally Roland of Sarasota, FL, Frances Jean Danny Sturgeon of Greentown, IN, Nettie Jo Rodney of Greentown, IN and Mike Roland of Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren, Kris Idlewine, Dwayne Morris, Scotty DeVaney, Danielle Eicks, Nicolas Eicks, Victoria DeWitt, Alexander Eppl, Kylee Eppl, & Benjamin Eppl; two great-grandchildren, Devanie Eicks & Kallen Idlewine; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Roland & Rose Lock Glotzbach; and a brother, Raymond Roland, Jr.
