Becky is finally with the Lord Jesus Christ after battling ovarian cancer. Becky was predeceased by her husband, Lester E. Salazar; son, Lawrence Salazar; and sisters: Christina Lucero and Teresa Montoya.
She is survived by her sons: Joseph “Jose” Salazar, John Lester Salazar, and Louis Salazar and wife Gloria; seven grandchildren: Chris and wife Michelle, Michael and wife Shannon, Matthew, Luke, Roman, Clarice and husband Jeffrey, and Madeline; four great-grandchildren: Kelsie, Melissa, Hannah, and Brendan; one brother, Ted Sandoval and wife Esther; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Becky was known for her genealogy research and participated in the Hispanic Genealogical Research Center activities when she could.
