Reba McFerrin Belding, age 98, of Oneonta, passed away July 21, 2011. She was retired after 32 years as a 2nd grade school teacher at the Rock School in Center Point. She was a volunteer at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, member of the Day Lily Society, Rockhound Roundup in the Alabama Mineral and Lapidary Society and a member of Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Belding was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Belding, 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
