Raymond William “Bill” Wilson, 81, of Washington, IL passed away at 4:52 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2020, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on June 27, 1938, to James and Siota (Bean) Wilson in Monroe, Michigan. He married Donna Jean Sandifer on September 12, 1959, in Cumberland Gap, TN.
Surviving are his wife Donna of Washington, one daughter Darlene (Jeff) Payne of East Peoria, IL; two sons Keith (Tina) Wilson of Low Point and Matt (Jill) Wilson of Winston Salem, NC. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. His parents, one grandson, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Bill worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 31 years retiring in 1996.
