Raymond Victor Burton, age 70, of Stephen City, Virginia passed away Friday, July 29, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC. He was born on June 11, 1946 in Washington DC the son of the late Raymond D. and Helen (Lamphiear) Burton. He was retired from Lockheed Martin and was a US Army veteran. Survivors include his two children, Becky Burton Melton and husband Dwayne of Lynchburg, Virginia and Paul Burton and wife Linda of Linden, Virginia; one sister, Lynda Sappington of Lebanon, Ohio; five grandchildren, Norah Melton, Tessa Melton, Isaac Melton, Katelyn Burton and Luke Burton.
