It is with profound sorrow and a deeply enduring love that we announce the untimely death of our beloved husband and father, Raymond P. Hummer, III on December 14, 2021.
Ray began his life in the small town of Bunnvale, New Jersey. Born to parents Ray P. Hummer II and Renate Beyerbach-Hummer on February 11th, 1959.
Ray was a true patriotic American and was proud to serve his country in the United States Army; He was honored as a Marksman with an M-16 Rifle, was a specialist grenades expert, and specialized in tank turret mechanics.
Rays first and only natural born son, Ray P. Hummer, IV was born in July 1985 and later adopted 5 children, with his marriage to Melinda and later Jacob, who worked alongside Ray for many years.
Ray began his career in his early teens by attending College where he received a degree in welding and graduated valedictorian.
Though he was extremely proficient in welding, ray expanded his knowledge and was exceedingly skilled in all construction fields and mechanical trades. His imagination in building and constructing preceeds him from generations before and into his children.
Ray affected and changed everybody that he came into contact with his smile, love, and generosity. He will be loved and dearly missed but look forward to our reunion in the spiritual realm.
