Raymond Murdock Fountain age 84, a long time resident of Crestview, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015. He was born May 16, 1930 in Monroeville, Alabama to Murdock and Gladys Fountain. Raymond lived in Crestview for the last 60 years, and he retired from the Armed Forces in 1971 and retired from the City of Crestview in 1995.
Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Thelma Fountain.
Raymond is survived by four sons, Raymond Mac Fountain, Michael Ray Fountain, Mitchell Ray Fountain, and Wayne Fountain; two grandchildren, Michelle Fountain and Brook Fountain; three Great-Grandchildren.
He will be remembered as a strong man in life and in death who always provided unselfishly for his family and friends. He took several people into his home that had nowhere to go and gave them food and shelter until they could go out on their own, He loved his family and was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. His last spoken words were to love each other.
