Raymond “Lee” Welch, 91 of Duncombe, passed away Wednesday, August 7 at the Stratford Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center. His wish was to be cremated.
Lee is survived by his daughter Becki (Terry) Bell of Westminster, Colorado; son Ray of Dayton, Iowa; Grandchildren Jason Bell of Westminster, Colorado; Jessica (Mike) Anderson of Arvada, Colorado; Logan Carlson of Gowrie, Iowa and great grandson Alex Anderson of Arvada, Colorado.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Verne, and his wife Cora.
Lee was born November 23, 1921 in Fort Dodge. He graduated from Duncombe High School and lived and worked on the family farm all his life. He was married to Cora Larson on April 3, 1951. She preceded him in death in 1992.
