Prospect – Mr. Raymond Joseph Palmer, Sr., age 88, of Prospect, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Theresa (Brennan) Palmer. Ray was born on May 6, 1927 in Waterbury, son of the late Raymond Lawrence and Mary (Donnelly) Palmer. Prior to his retirement Ray was an Engineer at Pratt and Whitney in North Haven and East Hartford. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Palmer was a 60 year resident of Prospect and was instrumental in building the Prospect Town Hall and Fusco Field. He was a communicant of St.
