Raymond J. DeMatteo, age 93, former resident of Milford, and beloved husband to the late Ruth Bettjeman DeMatteo, entered into eternal rest at Griffin Hospital on Monday, May 7, 2012. He was born February 11, 1919 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Alexander and Gertrude DeMatteo where he attended both public and parochial schools.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas DeMatteo and his wife Susan, William DeMatteo,
six cherished grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Ruth, he was predeceased by his sister Jocelyn Zayas, sister-in-law, Dorothy Pol and brothers-in-law Stephen Pol and Steven Zayas.
