CLAPP, Raymond J. died July 13, 2014, at age 83. Ray was born March 13, 1931, in Kalamazoo to the late Albert and Wilma DeGraff Clapp. He was united in marriage to Ellen Sanborn on February 10, 1951.
She preceded him in death on December 30, 2001. Ray served in the U.S. Army from 1951 until honorably discharged in 1953. Ray is survived by his children, Michael Deborah Clapp of Colorado Springs, CO, Kathleen Nettles of Charleston, WV, Rebecca Klimp of Portage and Linda Robert Koon of Granger, IN; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Ray was also preceded in death by his brother, Bud Clapp.
