Raymond Gregory Lewandowski of Burlington Township passed peacefully Tuesday, January 22nd, at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. He was 75 years of age. Born on November 17, 1937, in Camden, NJ, he was the son of the late John and Phyllis (Seroczynski) Lewandowski. A United States Marine Corps veteran, he served his country honorably from 1954-1957 specializing in air and sea rescue. He had been employed as a machinist and then a general manager for various tool and dye makers in the region.

A professional polka dancer and singer, he was an avid Philadelphia sport teams lover, enjoyed gardening, bowling and holiday decorating.

Preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lewandowski Cooper, he is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Constance (nee Kaminski) Lewandowski, his five children and their spouses: Sharon and Brian Coleman of Westville, NJ, Gregory Lewandowski and James Lao of Manassas, VA, Cynthia Lewandowski of Burlington Township, Julie and Ciro Esposito of Perrineville, NJ, and Phyllis and Robert Balint of King George, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Jacob Coleman, Valentina, Suzanna and Marcello Esposito, Chelsi and Chandler Balint and many wonderful brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
