Raymond E. McCardle, 89, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 31st, peacefully, at his residence. Raymond was born in Ohio County, IN on March 26, 1920, a son of the late Blanchie Bell (Hastings) and Ruben McCardle. In 1946 he married Polly Calvert. Polly passed away in 1967. On Nov. 30, 1984 he married Carolyn Sue (Koons) McCardle who survives him.
