Raymond C. Seeliger, age 71 formerly of Milford, died Sunday January 18, 2009 at Griffin Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Hartford on November 18, 1937, he was the son of the late Curt and Elizabeth Schmidt Seeliger.
Ray was a graduate of Milford H.S. class of 1958. He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft in 1993. He had many interests including stamp collecting and cooking. Ray was avid outdoorsmen and loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his brother Richard Seeliger and his wife Frances of Seymour. A niece, Sharon Hopwood and two grandnephews, Spencer and Connor Hopwood, all of Seymour. Also his beloved dog, Bundy.
