Raymond Joseph Boucher, 79, of Plainville, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday October21, 2011 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. He was the husband of Velma (Daigle) Boucher. Ray was born on March 18, 1932 in Sinclair, Maine, the son of the late Harry and Mabel (Corriveau) Boucher.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his 2 children, a daughter June Norris and her husband Peter of Bristol; a daughter Kim Smith of Plainville, his siblings, sister Vi Michaud and her husband Roger of New Britain, a sister Joan Shady and her husband Robert of Orleans, MA, his grandchildren Crystal Vazquez and her husband Christopher of Bristol; Jason Boucher of Meriden; Raymond Boucher and his wife Lisa of Bristol; Megan Boucher and their mother Diane of Plantsville; Heather Smith of Plainville and Peter Norris, Jr. of Bristol, 5 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and sisters and brothers in law. He was predeceased by his son Perry Boucher, his brother Clement Boucher and sister in law Cecile (Dubois) Boucher, and his mother and father in law Alcide and Gertrude Daigle.
