Mr. Raymond A. Duger
, 81, passed away on Wednesday January 12, 2010 at his home in Kearny.
Mr. Duger was born in Rochester, NY and has lived in Kearny for the last 59 years. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Ray worked for the D.P.W. in the town of Kearny for 37 years. He served as the department’s supervisor for several years. He Retired in 1994.
He was a Past President of the Kearny Civil Service Council 11. He was a member of the St. Cecilia Council # 6928 Knights of Columbus, Kearny as well as a member of St. Cecilia Holy Name Society. He also was a member of the Wilson Gugleman Post # 1302 V.F.W. in Kearny.
He is survived by his wife Margaret (Pyper). He was the father of Susan Andriano and her husband Sam, Rosemary Duane and her husband John and Raymond and James Duger. He was the grandfather of Kimberly Penna, Megan Duger and Matthew and Christopher Duane. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Antoinette.
