Raymond G. Rottas, Ret. Col., USAF, age 83, of Paradise Valley, passed away July 11, 2011. Ray was born October 20, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio and had been an Arizona resident since 1945. He was an Arizona State Senator from 1971-74 and 1977-82 and treasurer of the State of Arizona from 1982-1989. He chaired and worked on innumerable legislative and civic committees. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara; daughters, Donna Patton and Diane Bentley, sons, Paul and Steve; sister, Georgina Williams; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
