Raymond Rethel “Ray” Brodie, Jr., 53, of Rossville, GA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Ray was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, an accomplished and award winning tournament fisherman and enjoyed hunting, woodcarving, and collecting and researching historical Civil War and Native American relics.
Ray is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Shirley Brodie, and his wife of 30 years, Donna Brodie.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, and childhood sweetheart, Sandy Vice Brodie.
Ray is lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Amber (Chad) Regal and Tasha (Daniel) Brodie, his grandchildren, Mackenzie and Brodie Regal, brothers, Steve (Gwen) Brodie Sr., Robert (Beth) Brodie, Timothy Stinnett, Bo (Amy) Ramsey, and sisters, Kimberly (Mike) Morell, Dawn Brodie, and step-mother Lenora Brodie, several nieces and nephews, brother-in-law John Henegar, and life-long friend Kenneth Vice.
