Ray Dean Trembly, 70, of Chariton died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Chariton. He was born Thursday, March 2, 1944, in Wayne County, Iowa the son of William Clark and Elsie Merrett Trembly, Sr. Ray graduated from Garden Grove High School with the class of 1962, and later attended college in Springfield, Missouri for office equipment repair. On March 16, 1968, Ray was united in marriage to Judy Palmer in Chariton. Early on he worked for his father doing lawn mower repair and mechanical work on cars.
