God has taken another angel from our family. Randall Rhodes, 58, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully at his residence on November 21, 2021.
Born May 29 1963, Randall was the son of Ronald Rhodes and Barbara Sowders.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara (Dale) Clayton and his children, Christina Rhodes, Dustin (Jessica) Rhodes and Randy Rhodes Jr. all of Bloomington; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Dean (Patty) Rhodes of Texas, Dawn and Ron Martin of Texas, Kelly McGilvaray of Alabama, Feather Rhodes Roberts and Rhonda Rhodes of Bloomington.
Randy never met a stranger, and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He greatly enjoyed watching movies, playing video games, mushroom hunting, and his rod collection. Randy was an avid Raiders fan and animal lover, and especially had a great love for dogs. He was a very crafty man, and could build anything he put his mind to.
He loved poking fun at people to get them going. He was a smart man, who always thought he knew it all, and was never wrong.
Randy is preceded in death by his loving dog, Saber; his grandmother, Lavera Cox (Mimi) of Bloomington; grandmother and grandfather, Flora and Ray Rhodes; his father, Ronald Rhodes grandfather, Buck Sowders; and sisters, Shelley Staggs and Callie Rhodes.
